Box - Tray Harlequin Style

The open box (tray) is made from maple and a wood aptly named "purpleheart".  Yes, the wood is really that color though it can brown as it ages.  Each side is made of two pieces that are joined together with dovetails.  The corners feature half-blind dovetail joints.
